Synopsis

Single thirty-something Marissa, though beautiful and talented, is becoming increasingly skeptical about romance because every man in her life has been a cheater. She creates a website dedicated to exposing serial cheaters, but instead her website ushers back into her life her first boyfriend from adolescence, and he is determined to show her that a man can be true.

My thoughts

The more you hate the more you love, is what they say. And I find it hilarious and very easy to read.

Marissa creates a site of all his exes claiming that they are all cheaters. Trent on the other hand, makes a site of his own claiming that she’s a liar. The rest? I feel like they’re falling in love without them knowing during their constant fights. Well, at the end of the day, it’s not about who cheated and who lied. It’s all about falling in love again, for the second time.

The part of the book where Marissa and Trent have to stay together seems too cliche for me, that I know what’s gonna happen on the end of their deal. But I still find myself, cringing of too much kilig.

BIG GIRL PANTIES by Stephanie Evanovich

Synopsis

Big Girl Panties by Stephanie Evanovich is a rollicking and poignant romantic comedy about a young widow who decides to get in shape…and winds up getting her groove back–and a whole lot more! Holly Brennan used food to comfort herself through her husband’s illness and death.

Now she’s alone at age thirty-two. And she weighs more than she ever has. When fate throws her in the path of Logan Montgomery, personal trainer to pro athletes, and he offers to train her, Holly concludes it must be a sign. Much as she dreads the thought of working out, Holly knows she needs to put on her big girl panties and see if she can sweat out some of her grief. Soon, the easy intimacy and playful banter of their training sessions lead Logan and Holly to most intense and steamy workouts. But can Holly and Logan go the distance as a couple now that she’s met her goals–and other men are noticing?

My thoughts

This book proved to me that when it comes to love, size doesn’t matter, AT ALL. Hell, I dont even know why size and shapes always matter to most people. This book gave me a roller coaster ride of emotions from happiness, to kind of upset.

Obviously our main girl here, Holly, has issues. She weighs more than she should since the death of her husband. And she is so relatable, because I do stress eating whenever im overly stressed, tired or depressed.

The story of Holly and Logan takes us to that point of moving on over things that will never be ours anymore ( Holly’s husband), doing something better to help us move on (like exercise and weight loss), falling in love without so much looking over the other person’s weight or size and putting your big girl panties on in every situation.

I gave this book a good 4/5 stars and recommending it to everyone of different size so they could also put their big girl panties on. *wink*
